Laboratory of Biomolecular Research

The Laboratory of Biomolecular Research (BMR) at the Department of Biology and Chemistry at PSI consists of five research groups pursuing basic research projects in the fields of transmembrane signaling and transport and dynamic protein interaction networks. With its close contacts to beamline scientists at the Swiss Synchrotron Light Source (SLS) and its excellent infrastructure, BMR is an attractive environment for Ph. D. students and postdocs interested in structure/function analysis of complex biological systems.

Location

Our laboratories are located on the East campus of the Paul Scherrer Institut. The PSI is located close to Villigen about 35 km north-west of Zürich and 55 km east of Basel. You easily reach us either by public transportation or by car.
